The Wright Residence was designed to be a regional ranch house evoking farm, barn-like, or Texan dance hall qualities, as well as an American traditional feel, similar to the architecture of Fredericksburg, Texas. It was designed to fit into a stand of large Oak trees, secluded on 25 acres of ranch property.
